Instead of looking at My God and telling HIM how big my problem is, I looked at my problem and told it how big My God is. None have a problem as big as being four days dead! Be blessed.

Let's talk about God working it out for you!

Where are we going?

I've recently had several discussions with some Jewish friends. We talk about the common areas as opposed to the things that we differ in. I am excited to know that while have differing thoughts relative to the Lord, and more specifically, Jesus, can be the very thing that drives people away, it is His love and patience that draws.

While I endeavor to share Christ with anyone I speak with, I am also cognizant of the fact that some are offended if my sharing moves to the arena of badgering. Being led of the Spirit to share my testimony is the key to bringing people to the pont of asking questions about the Lord and what they must do to be saved.

Let us remember that our lives are the epistles that draw, as the Holy Spirit works in and through us to allow others to see Jesus in everything we say and do.

Be blessed.

The blessing of the Lord should bring forth joy, peace and a sense of ease in your life. That doesn’t necessarily mean that it won‘t sometimes have it‘s setbacks or will always be easy, but there should be a sense of ease about it.

Is America Ready For A Black President?

The media has posed this question. While I think it shows the degree to which we have not progressed, relative to race in this country, I also wonder what we, the church, are to do!

We, the people of God, should not be concerned with the color of a person's skin, but rather, our thought should be, during this election cycle, whether or not a given candidate, has the interest of the world, and the people of God, at the forefront of their platform.

What does the Bible say about speaking in tongues?

Christianity.com: "The Holy Spirit is the one who bestows spiritual gifts on believers (1 Corinthians 12:11). Not every Christian has every gift. Christian Teen Takes Purity Ring Case to High Court

LONDON – A 16-year-old Christian student in the United Kingdom is taking her school to the High Court over her right to wear a Christian “purity ring.”

The Silver Ring Thing is a Christian education project aimed at helping teenage girls value themselves, make the right choices about their future, and reduce Britain's ever-increasing number of reported cases of sexually transmitted diseases and pregnancies among teenagers.

Christians in today's world

As Christians, and faithful servants of the Lord, Jesus, the Christ, we must now begin to understand the world in which we live. Certainly, we are aware of the geo-political ramifications that are here and are to come.

Our faith must with stand the onslaught of a world that gives no thought or credence to a divine Creator. What we're seeing is simple. Things are not lining up in our minds, and therefore, our faith is failing.

When our experiences don't match our expectations, we begin to doubt God. No matter what happens around us, we must know that God is able to deliver us.

The three Hebrew boys got it right when they said; 'my God is able to deliver, BUT IF NOT'! The growth in our faith occurs when we know that God can, and therefore, it doesn't matter if God does! He always knows what is most beneficial for us.

As trials and tribulations increase, we must rest in the fact that when my right now, meets God's after while, my circumstance becomes 'no more.' As God is taking care of my right now problem, in His after while time frame, I must thank Him today for the deliverance that I sought yesterday.

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not unto your own understanding." Then and only then, will we become the people of faith that God has created us to be.

Federal Judge Nixes 'In God We Trust' Lawsuit

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A federal judge on Monday rejected a lawsuit from an atheist who said having the phrase "In God We Trust" on U.S. coins and dollar bills violated his First Amendment rights.

U.S. District Judge Frank C. Damrell Jr. said the minted words amounted to a secular national slogan that did not trample on Michael Newdow's avowed religious views.

Newdow, a Sacramento doctor and lawyer, also is engaged in an ongoing effort to have the Pledge of Allegiance banned from public schools because it contains the words "under God."

Brutality at Abu Ghraib Prison - Christianity Today Magazine: "Christians and Torture
The Evil In Us

Since the discovery of abuse at the Abu Ghraib prison in Iraq, Americans have intensely debated the extent to which torture is, or should be, used to gain information from enemy combatants. In what other facilities is physical coercion used, and to what extent? And what is legal under international law?

But Christians must ask questions beyond the legal and constitutional issues. To what extent can Christians accept torture—even as military defense? How does a soldier, made in God's image, protect the human dignity of the inmate, while gaining essential information to protect his fellow citizens? There are no simple answers, but CT has directly addressed those questions in our February 2006 cover story. More articles on Abu Ghraib, prison brutality, and other criminal justice issues are also available below."
